THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM AND SABECO ANNOUNCE THE COOPERATION PROGRAM IN 2022, AND LAUNCH NATION-WIDE “VIETNAM WINS GOLD” INITIATIVE TO RALLY THE LOVE FOR SPORT SPIRIT FOR SEA GAMES 31

 

Ha Noi, 13 May 2022 – The signing ceremony of the cooperation between the  Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism (MoCST) and Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (SABECO) was announced today at Melia Hanoi Hotel, 48 Ly Thuong Kiet St., Hoan Kiem ward, Hanoi. The cooperation for 2022 is based on shared objectives in the areas of Culture and the Arts, Tourism and Cuisine, and Sports. At the event, SABECO and MoCST also celebrated the launch of “VIETNAM WIN GOLD” - “VIET NAM THANG VANG” - a community initiative rallying on everyone in Vietnam to support our national sport teams and athletes during  SEA Games 31, raising the love for sports and positive spirit of the whole nation.

Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and SABECO announce the cooperation program in 2022

Following the excellent relations established in 2021, MoCST and SABECO have set up activities of cooperation for the year 2022 with the aim to elevate national sports and establish Vietnam's tourism brand as an attractive cultural and culinary tourism destination for both domestic and international visitors. Major activities of cooperation program for 2022 focuses on 3 key areas:

  • Culture - Arts: focusing on activities that promote the essential cultural and artistic values of Vietnam to the Vietnamese people as well as international friends, honoring Vietnamese cultural identities.
  • Tourism - Cuisine: focusing on activities that develop a national tourism brand, promote and introduce distinctive, representative culinary traditions across different regions of Vietnam as well as the finest international cuisines.
  • Sports: focusing on activities that support the successful organization of SEA Games 31, in which Bia Saigon brand is the Diamond Sponsor and the sole sponsor of the Doping control program at SEA Games 31, as well as contributing support fund to develop young sport athletes through nationwide community initiative “Vietnam Win Gold”.

Particularly, the “VIET NAM THANG VANG” chanting initiative is part of the series of activities that Bia Saigon is accompanying MoCST towards the 31st SEA GAMES in Vietnam. With the spirit of encouraging the willpower and belief in victory of the National Sports Team, the initiative will collect and echo sport chantings from supporters online and offline wherever they are. With the goal of collecting millions of chantings in support of Vietnam’s sports, by the completion of the month-long movement, Bia Saigon will contribute 5 billion VND to support the training and development of young athletes to reach international achievements and bring about the best of Vietnam sports.

Marking the launching of the “Vietnam Win Gold” initiative, representatives of MoCST and Bia Saigon along with artists that support the campaign including Miss Vietnam Do Thi Ha, Miss Vietnam Do My Linh; talented athletes from national sports teams such as Bui Tien Dung (Football), Tran Nguyen Manh (Football), My Tam (Karate), and former athlete Hoang Van Hung (Taekwondo) enthusiastically chanted the slogan "VIET NAM THANG VANG" together. From online platforms, the campaign also received personal chantings from fans across diverse sectors, including the ones attended the main event, along with musical band Da LAB, footballer Van Thanh, Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, 1st Runner Miss World Vietnam Nguyen Ha Kieu Loan, Rapper G-Ducky, actor Gin Tuan Kiet, actress Kha Ngan, singer Anh Tu, sports commentator Anh Quan, Ta Bien Cuong, gymnastic Pham Phuoc Hung, ... and many more.
